At Sea

Today we were scheduled to stop in Marseille but overnight the wind picked up and we apparently have heavy swells. Too heavy to allow a vessel of this size to dock safely, so the port was cancelled. Didn’t matter much to us since we hadn’t scheduled a tour and were just planning to take the shuttle into the old part of the city for a walkabout. Instead, we have a day at sea and that’s never a bad thing when you’re on a fabulous cruise liner. Already, I was part of a losing team at a game this morning and now I’m catching up on blogging. Later, who knows? There’s never a shortage of things to do on the ship. And there’s always the fitness room. I can only hope it will be full.

OK. Here I go trying for the FOURTH time to send you a message. Yes I'm the anonymous one liner!! It was meant as a trial run after I had spent almost 40 minutes writing to you the first time.
I'll be brief.
Just wanted to let you know how very much we are enjoying your incredible experiences! It's thrilling to try to live them, vicariously, through your fantastic writings.
And I wanted to comment on 2 things [the list is considerably shorter than the first time!!!].
First of all, your descriptions of your lovely ship make me feel even sadder about the possibility that we might not be able to sail on her in January. But our time will come.
Secondly,...what's with the guilt over eating dessert??? You're on a cruise, for crying out loud!!! You are supposed to indulge! In fact, if you read the small print you'll discover there are serious fines for those who do NOT eat desserts...plus extra points for those who enjoy more than one at a single seating. It's true!!
There's always the stairs and the resistance pool!!
Enjoy yourselves!!
Love,
Teddy
