Part of a four kilometre fence erected to celebrate the 1000th year of the founding of Hanoi. It's made entirely of tiny mosaics, each section by a different artist.


Most houses are just one garage door wide, but stretch to four storeys. Homeowners pay a frontage tax, so frontage is kept to a minimum. consequently, houses are deep and high. And if you have a house with frontage on the main road, you open a little shop. (8)
